Orthopedic Dysfunctions

Return to movement on your own terms.

Don’t have a pelvic floor condition? Not a problem. With over a decade of orthopedic experience, we help patients return to the movement they love — whether that’s running, hiking, working without pain, or simply getting through the day.

“People are multifaceted and their needs are too. Often one restriction links to another — connecting issues that have been going on for years. We meet you where you are.”

How we approach orthopedic care

Not just where it hurts — why it hurts.

Every orthopedic assessment at WildHer begins with listening. What’s been going on, how long, what makes it better or worse, and what you want to be able to do again. From there, we assess the whole picture — not just the painful area, but the structures around it, above it, and below it that may be contributing.

01
Whole-body assessment
Pain in one area is often driven by restriction or weakness somewhere else. We look at the full movement picture.
02
Hands-on treatment
Manual therapy, soft tissue work, joint mobilisation — applied precisely, not generically.
03
Tailored exercise
Progressive, individualised programmes that build strength and coordination — at your pace, toward your goals.

Conditions we treat

A full decade of orthopedic expertise.

We treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions — from acute injuries to chronic pain patterns that have been building for years.

01
Cervical, thoracic & low back pain
Neck, upper, mid, and lower back pain — whether from posture, disc issues, nerve involvement, or movement compensation. One of the most common reasons people seek PT, and one we see significant results with.
02
Hip, knee & ankle pain
Pain in the lower extremities often has roots further up the chain. We assess hip strength, knee tracking, ankle mobility, and how they interact — and treat accordingly.
03
Shoulder & elbow pain
Rotator cuff issues, impingement, tennis or golfer’s elbow, frozen shoulder — shoulder and elbow dysfunction responds well to manual therapy and targeted strengthening.
04
Pre & post-operative recovery
Preparing for surgery helps you go in stronger and recover faster. Post-surgical rehabilitation rebuilds strength, range of motion, and confidence at a safe, progressive pace.
05
Running & cycling injuries
IT band syndrome, runner’s knee, shin splints, stress reactions, saddle discomfort — we assess your movement patterns and mechanics alongside the injury itself to prevent recurrence.
06
TMJ dysfunction
Jaw pain, clicking, locking, or headaches from TMJ dysfunction are often tied to neck tension and posture. We address both the jaw and the surrounding structures that contribute.
07
Balance & gait impairments
Whether from injury, neurological changes, or movement patterns that have drifted over time — we assess how you move and help you move better, more confidently, and more safely.
08
Workspace ergonomics & sleep positioning
Sometimes pain is driven not by what you do in the gym but by how you sit for eight hours a day or how you sleep. Small changes to your environment can make a significant difference.

The pelvic–orthopedic connection

Often, the two are connected.

One of WildHer’s unique strengths is the ability to treat both orthopedic and pelvic floor conditions in the same practice — and to recognise when they’re influencing each other.

How orthopedic and pelvic conditions interact

The hip rotator muscles attach directly to the pelvis — the same place the pelvic floor attaches. Low back pain can load the pelvic floor. Hip dysfunction can create tension that feeds into pelvic pain. A patient with persistent low back pain and leaking may have both issues talking to each other in ways that only a practitioner trained in both can identify and address. At WildHer, nothing is treated in isolation.
