How does “cash pay” physical therapy work?

Cash pay means we do not take insurance. Reimbursement rates for physical therapy continue to go down, which in a traditional healthcare model means less quality time with patients. We don’t want this for you or us. You deserve a a comprehensive, patient centered, unhurried treatment session.

What does that mean for patients with health insurance?

We will provide you with a “superbill” which is essentially a receipt for your visit that contains information needed for insurance companies to reimburse you for your visit. WildHer Physical Therapy will be considered out-of-network (OON) with your insurance provider.

Understand your benefits. The easiest way to do this is view your plan details online, or by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. You can always start physical therapy without this information, just understand your insurance may not reimburse you.

Most insurance providers have an online portal where you submit your superbill for ease of payment. Track the status of your reimbursement and ask any questions all from your online portal. If your insurance company does reimburse you, that will be sent directly to you.

WildHer accepts FSA/HSA and all major credit cards for payment, due at the the time of service.
