"Inspired by nature, rooted in science, and led by a deep respect for the journey of rehabilitation — we help patients return to their strength and wild on their own terms."

— Dr. Emily Selby, PT, DPT · Founder, WildHer Physical Therapy

Our philosophy

Patients stay at the center of their care.

We are a pelvic floor physical therapy practice based in Columbia, Maryland, built on the belief that comprehensive, patient-centered care changes lives. Every session is designed around you — your goals, your pace, your body's unique needs on that particular day.

We treat the whole person, not just the achy parts. Often one restriction links to another, connecting issues that have been going on for years. By taking the time to understand the full picture, we're able to help in ways that brief, impersonal healthcare encounters simply cannot.

01
Unhurried & undivided
Every session is a full 60 minutes, entirely 1-on-1. No double-booking, no rushing, no looking at a clock. Just focused, intentional care.
02
Consent-centered
Nothing happens without your consent and comfort. You are always in control. Your body, your boundaries, your pace — always.
03
Evidence-based
Grounded in the latest clinical research, with techniques continuously refined as the field evolves. Science and intuition, working together.
04
Adaptive by design
Your plan of care moves with you. If you come in on a hard day, we adjust. Recovery is not linear, and your care shouldn't be either.

Specialist techniques

A full toolkit, applied with intention.

Techniques are always selected based on individual appropriateness and consent. We never apply a protocol — we apply what your body is asking for.

Visceral mobilization
A gentle, hands-on technique that restores natural mobility to the organs and their surrounding connective tissue — reaching a layer of restriction that muscle work alone cannot access. Particularly powerful for post-surgical recovery, endometriosis, and postpartum care.

Dry needling
Fine needles are used to target myofascial trigger points, releasing tension and restoring normal muscle function. An effective complement to manual therapy for chronic pain, muscle guarding, and complex pelvic floor presentations.

Manual therapy
Hands-on techniques including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and myofascial release — applied to both the pelvic floor and orthopedic structures to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve function.
Therapeutic exercise
Individualized programs that teach the body to move well — building strength, endurance, and coordination across the pelvic floor, core, and surrounding structures. Always progressed at your pace.
